I know it has been mentioned at least once. But, here in California one of the supposed more foreword thinking areas of the USA. Unfortunately this is not true, and her parent may have affected her opinions of a person her has never seen in the flesh according to the sources I have read and the videos I have seen both in her favor and against the views he has taken. There is Girl Scout who is trying to under mine the organization of girl scouting.
She has made a video blog on the danger's of letting a transgender girl in to the girl-scouts, and in protest is asking people not to buy the cookies this year. The Girl scout cookie sale is the biggest fund raising event of the year to let the young ladies go on camp outs, help to local communities and themselves as a troop. This in turn allows the troops to function.
So, I ask you to do the opposite, go out find a girl scout if there is one in in your area and buy some cookies in counter protest. The issue is about a Denver, Colorado scout of 7 years of age and 100's of miles away in a different state and not just a different council (the way they organization sections the areas off)district area. The Girl arguing for a protest, who is physically older and more mature in body so is in no danger of the other 'girl'. She has a right to voice her opinion, but in my opinion it is not the correct opinion.
Scouts both boy and girl are good for the communities in general, they are not a solution to children in being home alone or gangs but it is a must better choice for them to have available. So, my a box of thin mints, if not for you, give the cookies to somebody else they make pretty good gifts, too.

I know her actions are counter to the Girl Scouts' rules and policies, so first of all, KICK THE HATER OUT. She's a terrible representative for the GSA, an organization with a much better attitude than the BSA.
Secondly, what are this poor girls' parents like? This sort of intolerance comes from somewhere, it certainly isn't something merely thoughtless.

Well the truth is Girl Scouts of America, is more excepting of male as adults in the girl scout organization than the Boy Scouts of America are of women in the organization with the exception of den mothers/pack leaders.Most high ranking people in BSA are Men and do not get me started on their transsexual right issues.
There are limit and controls for men in GSA they have to sleep away form the girl(s), use separate rest area that well marked and not be alone with a girl. Are there loops in any rule yes. Do the Boy scouts worry about women molesting the boys, not officially, but off the record there may be cases, after all no one believe either the boy(s) in the schools in the news that got take advantage off.
But, most of boy scout stuff is hearsay so I can not say that is goes on. But, I can give you the facts that like many other things in life things are not fair, equal, or alway right. Boys and Girls are not equal before the law and the agency that protect and have member of single sexes have strong views on what is correct. So, that scout troop for all we know it the one to teach that girl only means no "boys who think they are girls" to quote from the video.
There is bunches we do not know about this case. I truthful side with the innocence 7 year old but I would like to know why the girl close to 10 years her senior wants her out from her belief or somebody in her life that clue her into this quest.
But, remember this issue has been around for years, they even had similar issue in a Brady Bunch episode, Marsha want to prove she was as good as the boys, and her bother though it was so 'dumb' they retaliated with one of them joining the "Sunflower Girls".

"Taylor from Ventura" didn't just wake up one morning and realise that the very fabric of the GSA was being threatened by the inclusion of the occasional transgender child. However willingly, Taylor is pretty much a pawn in all this. Her mother heads an organization called HONEST GIRL SCOUTS, which has been battling the organization for years over a variety of issues- from the inclusion of lesbians to some alleged link to PLanned Parenthood (this week's conservative boogyman, apparently...) and the corruption of these young girl's minds and souls thru smutty sex education material, a pamphlet supposedly being circulated within the troops called YOUNG, HEALTHY AND HOT, which as far as anyone can tell doesn't actually exist. She's even complained about the focus of the environmental merit badge being green/socialistic/anti-GOD. So Taylor's scare video about "boys in skirts" hiding and lurking and plotting and whatever amidst the unsuspecting real girls is just the latest battle in her mom's war on anything remotely progressive or egalitarian happening within the organization; And it sounds like it was written by the mom. Using her daughter's more innocent face to carry her message of exclusion and making it seem like Taylor's idea was a clever---if chickenshit---move, not unlike the holy rollers who come to your door with pamphlets bringing their kids along as human shields so you won't be as prone to cuss them out.
So yes I'm buying Girl Scout Cookies this year, lots of them. We didn't start it, but this is WAR...

Girl and Boy Scout are mostly good groups. I personally would have like to do what the Girls where doing but that is me and not the average "Lay person".
So, the group should not be penalized for what one 'dumb' girl holds to be the truth. I have some faith things are slowly changing for "lgbt" right in some ways. So, just like I do not go to church because of the (rudeness of) priests, I can still have some religion in my life and believe there was a creator and lessons in the holy book(s).
So, this is a mixed blessing for the GSA because the media has the cookies in the publics eyes, so free publicity but it from a contraversity, and that in the long run shakes peoples faith in a group and often does cost membership. And some news papers and channel say that girl have been or were being pulled. The detail missing is where and how many. Or even what is her friends and troop members doing, I except they are still selling their cookies but no one has covered their views and if there is a solidarity.

A web site thinks that she's not even a scout and basically she's being used as a mouthpiece. You'd think with looking slightly Latino, she'd know how it hurts to have people hate you for what you are. It's in their law to be considerate and caring and this girl is going the other way.

The reality is that people realize this in today's world. Girl Scout cookies are actually experiencing a jump in sales following this brainwashed girl's video (yes, she very much is her mother's shadow). Personally, I like the Tagalongsâ„¢ best.
