Well, I just got back from dropping off a resume with a call center as Dorothy. Not only that, but I dropped in at my current work as Dorothy, and said hello to everyone. Thanks to having been talking about this for the last while, nobody seem shocked. One of my co-workers even called me Dorothy. Pretty good day, I think.

For what it's worth, I just found out literally a couple of days ago from a friend of mine who works out of a call center up in Newfoundland, that they've had two transfolk actually transition while on-the-job there. :-D

I blame the water
I lived in Newfoundland when I was little, and let me tell you, that island changes you....
Why, I used to like that foot-kicking-ball thingie game! (Not that I ever played it... you could get a bruise.) But still, I watched some of it on TV, once, sitting on Daddy's lap. In Newfoundland. So, see? Like, I was way butchier back then, before I changed.
