Well, I am trying very hard not to feel discouraged by the error I made in posting my Phoenix story. I really liked how the story turned out, and now it will probably vanish without much recognition. I am trying to focus on the fact that just writing something that long is a major accomplishment for me. I am starting to wonder if the meds I am on for depression are doing any good any more. I am finding it harder to keep positive, and much easier to feel hopeless. Monday, I will call the doctor and tell him. Meanwhile to try and cheer myself up, I am working on the last part of Fluke.

BC is so busy that stuff doesn't stay front page for long
Nice, thought provoking look at the retcon mutant/sex change/powers/teen angst mixing pot. That the *villans* were not the expected evil genius/alien invasion/criminal mutant was a nice twist.
Solid and interesting effort.
Posting bug was a minor glitch.

For what it's worth, I'm
For what it's worth, I'm going to delve into it and start reading this afternoon myself. I'm a big X-Men/Marvel fan (And a self-admitted Rogue fangirl, but I could never do her justice as a CRU :-D)
It can't hurt to see if your prescription needs to be adjusted, but hopefully a friendly /hug will help in the meantime :-)
It is a novel
You wrote a novel. You should be tired and exhausted.
It says it is over 30,000 words long. This is a tremondous
accomplishment. It takes skill and discipline to write
something as long Phoenix. For stories this long it has
quite a few reads, way over a thousand. It takes us slow
readers a long time to read something this long.
Excellent story.
