After I heard the news about Graham James, the hockey coach accused of abusing children who played for him, I really struggled with anger and depression. That this man was convicted, but still allowed to leave the country. really makes me feel like the authorities still don't take abuse seriously. Is there ever going to be justice for all those who were like me? How do I live with the fact my rapist never had to face punishment for what he did to me?

You can survive this. I know that what was done to you was horrible, but if you allow it to consume you then the bastard has won. You can show them that even though they did this to you, you will not let it destroy you.You will not give them that satisfaction. I take comfort in knowing that even if someone is never punished here on Earth, they will have to face what they did in a higher court one day. There is also Karma in play. One day it will come back around to them and they will have no one to blame but themselves. Stay strong and you can rise above it. Hugs!!!

Many of us can never get requittal for what was done to us.
The bastards who raped me and exibited me while a dog was used to rape me will never be punished. It all happened prior to 1965 you see and Borstals were part of Her Majesty's Prison Service. Consequently they had crown immunity from prosecution.

OMG My heart and prayers go out to you. They would never get me on a rape trial as the only true cure for a rapist is castration . My prayers are with all victims of rape be they female, male or transgender
