Dimelza has noted that Mister has been up long enough. She has asked that I take it down, so I will honor that request and delete it.

I will leave it up for one more day to allow everyone that last chance to read it.

I read it

as she first published it and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Never saw it before

And just read it recently. A good story I would have missed if not for Angela's efforts.

I find it difficult to understand why an author removes any story from a site like this, with the single exception, I suppose, that she wants to republish it for profit. That, I've nothing against at all. People have to eat, after all.

On the other hand, I do read blog entries of authors who have such profound problems I wonder they managed to publish in the first place. Having never been in that situation means I can't relate to it.

Everyone can be assured that if and when I go, by whatever method, my stories will remain. Like children, once they have left home, they have a life of their own and I am no longer wholly responsible for where they go and what they do.

'Mister' is a very very good

'Mister' is a very very good story. Well worth reading and keeping. I'm sorry it will be taken down, because it's one of the stories I like to re-read when I'm feeling blue.

I'm sorry to hear this is

I'm sorry to hear this is going to be removed, but thank you for bringing it to my attention. I'd never read Mister before. It's a wonderful story! I hope you will pass on to Dimelza how well it has been received here.

I saved it when first published, but never expected it would go

away. Length of time on the site is not reason to remove a story, particularly as good a story as this one.

There are always new people who never had the chance to see it before, and regulars who just missed it.

I still find stories here that I missed, or didn't have time to read, and forgot about.
Then, I see something by the same author, like it, and see what else they have posted.

For those who want to reread it, I suggest you copy it to your hard drive before it is too late.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

'Mister and it is still one of the best "feel good" stories to appear on BCTS.I shall miss it as it always gives me a lift.

MISTER

Angela Rasch - a thousand thank yous!! One of the best love stories I ever read. To me, it is not a TG story - that is only an incidental quirk to the main character's personality. It may drive his sense of frustration from time to time but it does not interfer with his integrity nor his caring & love for a child badly in need of compassion & love.

I finished this story a good half an hour ago but still I cry. I emailed to my self & saved on my hard drive. So I am selfish & looked after my ability to be able to return whenever I need to examine the reason for my existance.

I am sooo glad that I took your advice & read this story before it disappears from BCTS which will be all the poorer for it's withdrawl.
