Interesting "Conjunction" of Holidays.

I see that this year, the Holy time of Rosh Hashanah, and EID closely coincide. I find it extremely sad that two belief systems which have so much in common seem to have had so much to fight about in the past. For the past month beginning August 11th, Muslims have been celebrating the month or Ramadan and it will end with a three day celebration.

Inshallah (God willing), the fact that the Jewish and Muslim Holidays nearly coincide will somehow help us all to be more sensitive to the needs of others, and that the fact that both coincide with the date of the atrocity of September 11,2001 may be a sign or motivator to us all. May the events of 9/11 never happen again and may Muslims see to it that a few whack jobs are never able to hijack our religion again.

Much Peace.

Agreed, Gwen

Of all the things to fight over, religion seems about the silliest of the bunch. I do not intend to denigrate any religion or belief system when I say this, not at all. It's just that all of them (as far as I know) have some form of peace and love as part of their tenants. I am appalled at the actions of some of the nuts out there, on all sides; the most recent being the loonytoon "preacher" in Florida. There is no cause or reason for his actions, it is nothing more than blind bigotry.

What we need is a lot more "Peace on Earth, Goodwill to Men" and Women.

I went outside once. The graphics weren' that great.

I don't have many answers

And the fact that our faith preach love and we don't practice that leaves me completely nonplused.

It's never been better put, I don't want to have to keep repeating it.
