So, this morning I was reading on this site and I had an interuption. I had to leave and I forgot to get off the internet. When I got back a few hours later and sat down at the computer, I spun the track ball and the computer woke up to a funeral home on my screen but with BCTS in anothe window. I am not suicidal and have not been looking for a Funeral Home. Worse yet, it was an Arab Funeral home. Even more worser yet, I had a young woman with me whose brother had blown his head off a year ago.
I used to be able to look at my history so I could figure out where I'd been but with Vista I do not know how to do it. Does anyone know where the history files are now kept?

On the keyboard CONTROL-SHIFT-H (hold down control key and shift keys, then hit the letter H)
Or via pull-down menu (Internet Explorer 8) View-->Explorer Bars-->History

P.S. We all want you around, maybe it was a pop-up ad?

It shouldn't matter what operating system you run; it's a function of your browser. CTRL-H is the shortcut for all the browsers I'm familiar with -- IE, Firefox and Chrome.

I cried for her.
I cried for me.
I cried for a world that wouldn’t let her be.

Ad-Ware
Sounds like you picked up some Ad-Ware along the way. Miserable, sodding stuff that hides on your machine, reads the screen for keywords, and pushes ads at you.
I suggest you use one or two of the decent free utilities to scan your machine for the little buggers and crush the life out of the invader! Two of my favorites are Ad-Aware and Malwarebytes.
