Hey everyone! I have a question to all of you computer gamers out there! As you know most RPG games now will let you make a character portrait. Which ones out today are really good at that? I figure with all the WOW and other players out here if anyone knows it'll be the people here. So any recommendations?
I've looked at Poser but I'm a little hesitant to get so involved I need to learn a whole program. I'm afraid I'm a point and click kind of person. :) Easy is good! Just looking for a way to waste a little time in a way I can pretend is constructive.
The last chapter of Boy's School has been recently posted. If you haven't read it I encourage you to the first chance you get. I don't think I have any spoilers here but why take the chance?
AE Brain is a interesting blog by an Australian rocket scientist. Her entry for the 12th is about an intersexed woman transitioning. It is a Youtube, but there is a short write up explaining her situation.
How many of ME are there? I ask this question because I've read several stories and comments of 'us girls' that separate our male and female selves. The most recent that comes to mind as an example is Nancy's excellent "A Different Kind of Courage." There Amanda is coming to terms with Lance Corporal Newly her alpha male protector.
David Weber the Sci-fi author of Off Armageddon's Reef has an interview up at Baen.com. The novel has some TG in it but not as part of the main story. David Weber is the author of the popular Honor Harrington series as well as others. His books has strong women as their heroines and tend to be military sci-fi. I know that in the past his books has been mentioned and thought the interview would be of interest. One thing he did say that I agree with one hundred percent is that the only bad thing with writing is it leaves you with less time to read! Enjoy all!
Hello! While at the Crystal Hall forums for Whataley stories, I ran across a link to a Japanese manga named Hourou Musuko. It is a very sweet story of two Japanese TG students. So for unlike some this one is rated G and is pretty good. If this is your sort of thing the link is.

Well after looking at all the Thank You's for reaching certain mile markers here at BC I thought I would enter my one of my own. Heroes of Justice my most read story with just over 3200 hits rates as 288th in the all time most popular stories! Yay!!! I feel very much like those old TV Snapple commercials talking about their race to be number THREE!
I just saw that Robert Lynn Asprin has passed away. He was the popular author of the "Another fine Myth" series among many others. Robert also with his ex-wife Lynn Abby was responsible for the Thieves World Anthology. Details can be found here.
I was sent this yesterday. It is interesting that the OLD Guard is refusing to die! Well, They do not have to die but I wish they would just go away!!!! Read for yourselves.

I ran across this article today while web surfing. In short it is about a Chinese girl Xu Jiao playing the part of a boy in a Stephen Chow film called CJ7. I can't help but wonder if there would've been more attention if it had been a boy playing a girl's part. After all what's the difference? :) http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=42439

When did I know? That is a tough question. During my pre-school to the third grade I was believed to be mentally retarded. To say I was aware I was different is to make a huge understatement. Those years in school wasn't pleasant at all and whatever other problems was lost surviving in the middle of desegregation during the late sixties here in the South.
Hello everyone. I want to ask all of you a question. How many of you consider yourselves gamers? I am writing a novel about gamers and superheroes, and the question came up as to the percentage of guys vs girls game. That got me to thinking that maybe the wrong question was being asked. Maybe we should be asking how many LGBT games and more to the point how many TG sisters and brothers game?
Nov. 3 1957 the first earthling went into orbit. It wasn't a man but his best friend, a dog. In honor of our own Laika and my own geek fascination with space I'm posting this link to a Msnbc article about the one and only spacedog. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21596557/

I am nearing my one year anniversary of my first post here at Erin's wonderfully Big Closet. During this time I've been blessed by having a great group of ladies step forward and help me. Alas nothing stays the same and with Dreaded Real Life and other issues taking their toll I find myself looking for help once more.
I just saw where "A Wrinkle in Time" author Madeleine L'Engle has died. Her book was one of the first Sci-fi stories I read and along with "Have Space Suit Will Travel" by Heinlein turned me into a fan. Details are located here. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070907/ap_on_re_us/obit_l_engle

Hey Everyone! I posted Heroes of Justice some time ago but meant to include a graphic. The problem was I hand drew the base figure and scanned it to Paint. Once there I couldn't leave the Beep Beep Beepity Beep thing alone! I kept changing stuff! Finally I'm half way satisfied with it! I'm not a good artist but I'm stubborn to keep at it till it at least resembles what I'm envisioning. You can take a peek here. http://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/fiction/3807/heroes-justice
Thanks again for everyone who commented on the story!

While we know gay behavior exists in the animal kingdom rather or not transgenderism is in nature is unknown. By its very nature it would be difficult to determine. Intersex is known and here is not only a good example but a happy ending.
Hello I was chatting tonight and a interesting idea come up. We have a wonderful group of talented authors here at BC and that got me to wondering what if any Non-TG materials they might have written. For that matter is there a convenient place where we can find these hidden treasures? I know some have their own homepages but what for those like me who are technically inept? Anyone?
Well maybe not a good idea, but just maybe...

Hi Everyone! I was scanning though my favorite web sites this morning and ran across a movie trailer for "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium" I was a little turned off by the title and idea that it was just another Holiday movie. However once I watched it I got SRU flashbacks not that anyone was transformed but just by the sets and madcap staff. Maybe the Wizard has a younger brother? here is a link to the trailer in case anyone is interested. http://us.video.aol.com/player/launcher?ar=us_en_video_640x7...
Hi all I posted a story this morning named "Ultimatum" that I later took down. I believe that it needed more context to make it understandable. I am working on a companion piece that I more than likely will use Ultimatum as the preface for. Sorry to have confused anyone!
Hugs for all who wants them!

What's up? For those who enjoy TG Sci-fi adventure Taralynn has finished her Crew Shift story. It could almost be a Star Trek episode but takes place in a universe all of Taralynn's own. There is even some Art work attached. My personal rating for this is very good fun read.
enjoy! You can find it here.
