While we know gay behavior exists in the animal kingdom rather or not transgenderism is in nature is unknown. By its very nature it would be difficult to determine. Intersex is known and here is not only a good example but a happy ending.

The only thing stranger than this poor panda story, is how people actually find them on the net in the first place. Maybe my ISP is a bit more conservative, although they did feature a photo of the Bangkok ladyboys at the Edinburgh Fringe yesterday.
