Hello! I've posted 'No Man's Hand' here at BCTS, and have another new story up at StarDust. As usual I'll give it a week there before moving it over. It's named 'Knight and Dragon' and although it is also features a Dragon, the two stories aren't related. This latest tale let me explore my all time favorite D&D magical item, so please enjoy!

Hi everyone! I have a new story up at StarDust. As usual, I'll leave it there for about a week before bringing it to BCTS. It's named 'No Man's Hand.'

Have all you high fantasy fans out there ever wondered about other explanations when it was you read that the Witch-king, demon or whatever the baddie is would not fall "by the hand of man?" I have.

Enjoy!

Looking for Story

A while back someone posted a story that had SF and Transformations. It started off with a scientist accepting applications for a trial study using a type of gene therapy. One of those applicants was his old college roommate who was very brilliant, but was crippled by disease and genetic disorders. As a matter of fact all the study's subjects had severe problems and health issues.

Computer Problems.... again!

I'm having computer problems again. Once more my romance entry is nearly completed, but may be lost. This is the third time I've had to write parts of it over again due to virus's, and this time a POST problem. Just as bad, LL's excellent Retcon Star Wars rekindled my muse for my own Retcon story involving Ms Marvel. Tired last night, I shut down without backing up like I usually do, so all of that may be lost too.

Five Years

Author:

As of two hours ago, I've been here at BCTS for Five years. It's been loads of fun and I've made a lot of good friends. I've learned a lot about myself. I finally let myself be a little more of the real me. Not as easy as it sounds as most of you know. After holding myself apart for so long, it's so very difficult to let go of those things I hidden behind. Most of my stories has gotten a good response even if not blockbusters, well, by BC standards. A few has gotten very good welcomes, and I'll be lying if I said it didn't feel good.

RIP Jeffrey Catherine Jones

Taxonomy upgrade extras:

Author:

Yesterday Jeffrey Catherine Jones died. She was an artist who transitioned in 1990. Frank Frazetta once called her the worlds greatest living painter.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Jones_%28artist%29

Perhaps like me the name didn't ring any bells, but once I searched out some of her work I recognized them immediately. So many of the paperback covers of fantasy tales I read back in the 70's had her name on them. Also she was one of the artists that made National Lampoon such a hit in its hey day. A truly remarkable person.

Rest easy.

More than a few have racial or gender changes. I know that it's supposed to illustrate how there's a little of the hero in all of us, but I can dream! :) Some are very good.

Help anyone! Last night I got hit with a Trojan named System Tool. It is very nasty! Scotty from here gave me some help sending me Malwarebytes Mbam. However, apparently didn't work as my machine is still messed up. I'm running McAfee AV now, but am not hopeful given some of the forums I've tried. Any advice?

Zerophilia Fanfic

Today while web surfing I ran across this story, "QED." It appears to be a "Zerophilia" fanfic. It is by Jon Buck and is hosted at the site. Warning it is still incomplete, but I found it interesting anyways. Since it was just posted there is more to come.

The story link is http://shifti.org/wiki/User:JonBuck/QED

The site link is http://shifti.org/wiki/Main_Page

Shifti has stories about all kinds of transformations, many of them about furries. However, there is a section that is just TG. It is set up in a wiki format so it can take some exploring to find what you're looking for.

Alien Prequel Spoilers

Here's something I ran across today in my daily surfing. Seems like someone has leaked some plot notes from the proposed Alien: Prequel movie in the works. In the Spoilers are details that sound like the script writers have been reading TG fiction. Here's the link with the Spoiler warning. Personally I'm guessing this isn't the real thing, but amusing at least to me.

Yesterday while shopping I saw something new to me, Lycra boots. In reality a pair of high heels with thigh high hose kinda built in. So unable to help myself I did some surfing for them today. While on amazon I found this review and got a nice laugh.

Career Day Part 3

Taxonomy upgrade extras:

Author:

Hey! I just posted Career Day part 3 over at StarDust. This ends vol. one. It's a complete story but I have more of Lee's tale that I'm working on. So despite my hyperactive muse I hope to get all of The Career Day Saga completed before trying to finish up way too many older stories that needs completion.

http://stardustr.us/content/career-day-wheels-bus-go-round-a...

Next Weekend I'll post part 3 here at BC. I can't promise I'll have vol. 2 ready or not. We're preparing to move at the end of the month and so things are starting to get a little hectic. Wish us luck!

New Grover Story!

Taxonomy upgrade extras:

Author:

Hey Everyone I have a new story up at StarDust. Career Day: The Wheels On The Bus Go Round And Round. It's a lot different from Once A Hero. It's about time travel, Alien machines, racists, and the joys of getting your hair done. Story length is around 46 thousand words, and will be posted in more or less three even parts. If I get part 2 that I'm currently working finished, I'll simply add it onto the end doubling the length.

Orbits Two

Hi again everyone! Guess what? Once again I've traveled all the way around the sun! You know what else? I've had some good company on the trip. So much has happened in this last orbit. My Southern Comfort Conference Scholarship, the amazing time there at the conference and many other wonderful things. There has also been the sad ones of losing both our beloved dog Delta and our cat Zoe. I've learned more about myself and the harm I did to myself. Denial is more than just saying no or refusing to admit certain truths.

My feline protector

Taxonomy upgrade extras:

Today my feline protector Zoe began her final journey. We noticed she was losing weight, but suddenly she stopped eating altogether last week. Taking her to the Vet, we found she had both some kind of liver and kidney problems. Hoping it was just an infection, we left her there over the weekend so she could get the fluids she needed as well as the care. We hoped that would enough for her to recover. That wasn't meant to be. As with so many other things we hadn't the money to take things further. The Vet recommended exploratory surgery, but that was far out of our financial means.

Hi Everyone! After the events Dear Understanding spouse explained in her blog we found PC Shield (Our Anti-Virus provider) hit us with a 50 buck 're-new' charge for our two computers without notifying us of it. Being on a limited fixed income this is a BAD thing. Can anyone suggest another Anti-virus that doesn't take business lessons from the Mafia?

OTH Posted at StarDust

Taxonomy upgrade extras:

Author:

Greeting and salutations! Part 14 and the Final Chapters of Once the Hero is posted at StarDust! This completes my 2nd novel. Yay me!

I'll post that final part here at BC on Sunday along with the character list already up at Stardust.

I do have a question for all my readers. Anyone who have seen Tim Allen's Zoom's Academy can see the similarities between OTH and that movie. I'm thinking about doing a self-published version of OTH, but if it's Plagiarized that of course is out. I'm simply too close to the story to tell. My question is does anyone think my story is plagiarizic?
