During a three-way conversation with my mom and Jaci, it came out that Mom's first choice for a female name for me was "Geraldine". It was my dad who wanted to call me Colleen, which I have taken as my middle name. Dont worry, though. As much as I love my mom, I have invested a lot of myself in being called Dorothy so there wont be a name change (I mean, beside the legal one ...) Maybe I could add it to my name as a 2nd middle name ...

Got an amazing compliment last night at work. One of the other girls and I where talking about me being stuck working the freezer every night, and out of the blue she said, "You shouldn't be doing it. Its a guys job!" Made me feel pretty good, it did ...

That good feeling came in the nick of time, as I have been struggling with a sense of worthlessness lately. Hope this little bump will lead to an upward spiral ...
