had an awesome birthday yesterday. I got tons of well-wishes from my online friends, I had a decent dinner with my brother and sister-in-law, and then got serenaded by my co-workers at work. Then to add the cherry to the sundae, two people at work made a point of saying "hey there, birthday girl" to me, which felt awesome.
It was so much fun, I almost dont wanna wait a year to do it again ...

ahhh,
26 and holding. I remember those years. Now it is 30 years and holding for me, the damn calendar lies I tell you!
Well then
That proves you're not an old lady! Only the young actually look forward to birthdays! LOL!
So happy and glad you had such a great day!
hugs

Sound like....
You had a day to remember. I am glad to hear it went so well for you!
HUGS!
HAH HAH! So you're 56 Grover? HAH HAH!
Blown right PAST the double nickel, Grover, as the truckers used to call 55.
Whereas *I* am law abiding and .... um right ON 55.
For another 5 plus months.
OH..
July 03, 1926 my grandmother Anna, five foot nothing and 95 lbs soaking wet AND pregnant gave birth to a TEN pound baby, Bill.
"Um, Anna? Henry? Bill's a girl!
Needless to say my mom was the last child they had.
OUCH!
And mom at 5 ft 3 never weighted more than 140 fully pregnant. We were respectful and all around 7 plus to 8 plus pounds.
So in any case, Happy Birthday, Dorothy , and all you other early July babies.

P.S. On July 03, 1896(?) my grandma Anna was born!
Talk about nifty coincidences. And I think a great grandmother of mom's was also July 3rd.
Though her dad died on my mom's 40th birthday so that took a little of the fun out of it for a while.
Mom would have been again the same age as Marilyn Monroe today, 87.
