Had a bit of a tough moment today, where all the stress of my mom's job, our potentially losing this place, and a realization that I might just possibly be attracted to men all hit me at the same time.
Fortunately, Tels was there to talk to me on the phone, and she recommended I get up off the couch where I had been huddling, stand up, and walk with one foot right in front of the other, tightrope style.
It helped.
Sometimes, all you can do is put one foot in front of the other, or so I've been told, but doing it literally got my mind out of the rut it was in, and allowed me to regain control of my emotions.

Well done Tels, but well done you for being receptive to her counsel.
I will add however that there is nothing wrong with being attracted to men, and if my memory serves me well then this isn't a new development anyway. Anyway there are admittedly many guys out there that you really don't want to know, but there are also good men out there (who aren't gay or already taken).
Just embrace your sexual orientation, whatever it may appear to be! = )
I'm not sure why it hit me so hard today
but it was bad enough to bring me to tears. But you're right, the only thing to do is embrace who I am, and let any bad stuff about it go.

I haven't been around as much lately. Sorry things aren't going so well, Dot. Hope they get better. Glad Tels was able to help... One foot in front of the other is good advice. Even taken literally. :)

Hey Dottie,
That happened to me, too. My theory is that it was caused by the estrogen. Then, post, I'd been spending a lot of time dilating and it just seemed like a guy could do that work for me. Sex was great, but I found I still was turned off when the guys were just acting like guys, ie. when they weren't courting me, or just with me alone....
After 6 months I got me a Tgal lesbian and I still have her.
