Well, last night I got a nice compliment. See, the night before, we were super short, and I ended up being sort of an assistant to the manager on duty. Well, last night, she made a point of telling everyone what a good job I did.

Maybe make a small list of the good things to look at when things do not seem to be going so good.

It is always good when a supervisor tells a subordinate, and anyone else around that they have done a good job. I am happy for you.
I also hope that this supervisor puts this into writing for you. Too many bosses tend to only put bad comments into writing thinking that a verbal "at a boy/girl" is just fine.
