Some random thoughts:

I was watching the first season of "Heroes" the other day. I'm a lot like Peter from that show - I was the family screw-up while my brother overcame our background to become a success. And yet he would drop everything to help me in any way possible.

I wonder where my poetry muse went? Its been a long time since I've written a new original piece.

My ex hasnt noticed the earrings yet. I wonder how big my front will get before she notices that?

I feel sorry for Americans this year. There's so many political ads on, and its only going to get worse between now and November.

I'm going to have to budget better. After paying my mom rent, I have under $400 in my account until payday. Scratch the McDonald's for a while .

A Christian woman at work who struggles with my transition suggested I find a church. I was tempted to say I'd go to hers, as long as I could wear a skirt.

Are flashbacks I can remember better than nightmares I couldn't? I woke up screaming so much as a kid people started to tune me out, but my last flashback was so real I could freaking TASTE my rapist. STILL creeping out over that.

I love watching my dog sleep on a chair in my living room with her paws straight up in the air. Never saw a dog sleep like that before, and its so funny.

I'm back to work tonight. Here's hoping for a good week at work, I need all the positives I can get.

A flashback...(Random Responses) :)

is a nightmare that you never forget. I know. And I shudder to think about what you went through.
My puppy like to sleep the same way! XD
You are so right about the politics.
Stay AWAY from McDonalds, girlfriend! It goes straight to the hips, and more than you want, too! (Unless you're going for the big booty!)

Peace!

Maybe she has noticed them, and has decided not to comment. It would be too much for her to say that they are pretty or you look good in them, but on the other hand, perhaps she has come to the conclusion that you are on the path to your true destiny and has decided, even if it is for your daughter's sake, not to battle it or criticise what you are doing. Saying nothing is her best course.

Maybe you should check out the ladies church. Talk with the minister on the phone, find out what his/her opinion is and if you could attend as Dorothy. It would be a real hoot to show up in a dress (proper decourm for church) and sit next to her, and have the minister welcome you to the congregation.

If it could happen it would surely make your day. If the minister rejects you, then nothing is lost becauseyou already anticipated his reaction.
