On being a whole person

As a woman, I enjoy many types of things in my life. I love a good walk, bike ride, road trip, chocolate cake, fettuccine Alfredo, my fish tail skirt, my new hearing aids, a clean kitchen, the smell of a bubble bath, newly done nails, and the days that I can wield my magic and make my dozens of hairs look like a head full.

I like a good story, both if I have written it, and if someone else has. I like science fiction, historical fiction, history, and the bible.

I wear most colors, except earth colors; yes, I am a pastel sort of woman, but I know that some women can carry off dirt colors.

I know an authoress here who was once one of the most popular writers here. Her stories garnered a great deal of support, and I liked them too. But for reasons of her own, she stopped writing the sort of story that many here love.

Now, she has a great story going, one that I think is even more skillfully written than her previous stories, with a complicated plot, well developed characters, and lots of action. It's an epic in my opinion. But it is not TG.

The popularity of this story is in the basement, and I simply can not understand why? Are we so narrow in our outlook on life that we can only see one genre?

I paid far too much to become the woman that I am, and refuse to force my life to revolve around the contents of my panties. I am multidimensional, multifaceted, exciting, loving, kind and try to help others.

This treatment of one of our own, makes me feel deep sadness and yes, shame.

Much peace

Gwendolyn
