The "usual suspects", of course: hot tea (got chamomile?) and biscuits/cookies. Chocolate. Hot shower/bath. Good night's sleep.

Some 'grandmother types' were reported to make 'angry bread' - all that kneading seemed to help. I don't know if the bread tasted any different ...
Other Mom types would do 'angry cleaning'. Smart children learned there were only two safe things to do - help or vanish. Preferably vanish. Or maybe vanish into their rooms, lock the door, and get them very, very clean.

And their 'analysis' has all the depth of that lake flooding the highway up ahead - but the 'water' is only a mirage,
