is that a word?
Whether it is or not, today most certainly is, well Octobery. In fact it has been all week, cooler temperatures but with less wind than of late, today has gone the extra bit with grey skies hiding the sun. And its turning decidedly cooler, i'll hasve to break out the thermal knickers soon lol.
Anyhow, its not been too bad a week so far. On Monday i cracked on with the next Gaby chapter, i didn't get it finished but i did manage that deed today so if you do the Patreon thing part 38 is now up for you to peruse.
Tuesdays bike ride was a little different to usual, first heading out to the Severn before following the Avon eastwards to Bath before a cafe stop and a final loop to complete 107km with barely 500m of climbing. It was a nice day but i wasn't enthused enough to head further afield but i do hear some Weston chips calling my name for tomorrows lunch!
I must apologise for the confusion with the Book 24, Fame postings. Whilst Sunday's post did conclude the book, due to some confusion on my part i got the numbering and even order of a couple of chapters wrong - there are only 38 chapters not the usual 40 to the book. Its all sorted now, correct name, number and content is all in place.
No such issues with Book 1, at least as far as i know! Today i've put chapter 25 up, News Travels Fast covers the exchange trip announcement.
So i think thats about it, i'll be back with more nonsense and news on Sunday.
Tak,
Madeline Annafrid

Coincidence!
Hi Mad, arrived in London on 9/18, day before funeral, purely by luck or lack thereof depending on your view of the situation. Stayed in Paddington, bought the obligatory bear and enjoyed many good pints over the ensuing days at Sawyers Arms. Experienced much love for and enjoyed many toasts to the Queen, Charles not so much though. We had a lunch engagement on the day of the funeral and getting to the restaurant was a challenge but they were open. Left on the 23rd, already looking forward to going back. Hugs, Carol
