to ride my bicycle, i want to ride my bike

but more of that later. First though, story theft. Well the good news is that after reporting the stolen work yesterday morning, Amazon have moved quite quickly, before the afternoon was out i was informed that the offending 'work' was in the process of being removed from all Amazon plarforms so a victory of sorts. Do Amazon sanction the perps beyond removal, do they investigate their other 'products'?

So to bikes, well bike in the singular actually. Friday was a glorious day as befits a royal birthday, sunshine, it may have even tipped into double figures temperature wise at some point, the only downer was a nagging wind, still gusting up to 30mph. I set off for my ride, the wheels tempted eastwards which eventually took me to Chippenham before returning via Corsham to the Avon valley and hence Bev's gaff. A reasonable 106km for my birthday ride, rewarded on my return by a pot of tea and a slice of cake!

Saturday was for relaxing - as much as i ever do, of course sorting out the piracy stuff took a bit of time but otherwise i was busy doing nothin'.

And so we reach today, the penultimate 24 hour period of February. With a forecast not dissimilar to Friday, rather than a long ride, i set off for a shorter meander around some north east Somerset lanes. Despite a gentler pace and a bit of messing about, the day's ride still added 75km to the year's total. So two months in and just over 2000km ridden which doesn't sound bad but its @ 500km behind target, so far this year i've not often been enthused for those longer rides.

You get a Gaby chapter today of course, Aunty Gab see's our girl reconnect with some friends, Marleen on the train and as you might guess, Bernie, Drea and Marty.

So, 27.2 is now available, i'll start writing the next swathe tomorrow, i plan on a late March release for part 3, fingers x'd.

I'll do my best to remember to post on Wednesday this week!
