It feels like life might be a Mix Master. I’ve been reading “Time on My Hands”, and reading the comments and making my own, writing my own story about historical future, then I ran into a Punjabi clerk, in Astoria, from Northern India and had a very interesting talk with him. Apparently, he and his family believe that Damascus is about to be utterly destroyed, watched a lengthy YouTube video about the 20th Century of Israel, participating in a discussion on line about early Biblical History, and trying to figure out if I should be a Jew and wear a Snood.
Getting worn out here people. Just so much going on that is soooo interesting, and I am having such a fun time. Wondering if I need to take a break and calm down?

Time to chill out a bit
you have so much wonderful country all around you why not enjoy it.
If I were you, I'd head down the Oregon coast or north from Cape Dissapointment (Washington State) and find a beach that was totally deserted and just relax, do nothing, unwind for a few days.
I'm sure that if you did then a lot that is buzzing around in your mind would sort itself out.

Vacation time on my hands
I'm 67, widowed, living alone, (except for my non paying feline border) and retired, heading out to see the Grand Canyon May 7 (from Pennsylvania). I discovered it is cheaper to fly into Las Vegas than any other nearby place. (I don't like glitz or gambling) Arranged guided bus tours to the Grand Canyon and Hoover dam. Then I checked what Vegas had I might like. Now I have tickets to see Elton John one night and John Fogerty another, both venues within a block of where I'm staying. It's a lot to do in 4 days but should be fun. I hope to recharge my batteries, I've downloaded 7 books on my kindle to continue background research for my story. ( I was a history major in college, have my BS in comprehensive Social Studies.) You can take a short break, learn and relax and keep focused. That is if you're wacked in the head like me. Enjoy life while you can. Just do it.
