If anyone has read my work on site, (s)he can certainly see that I am (or at least my muse is) a quite unusual person. I would guess the one word that would define me best is eclectic. You see, I, first and foremost, am NOT a gifted author, as so many on this site are. Writing for me is both a passion and, at times, an intense struggle. I have no style that I can truly call my own, and have had very little training (save the one Creative Writing class I took way back in high school - back when dinosaurs still roamed the Earth). I write as my muse directs, and sometimes... well, let's just say she can be "quirky". I hope someone, somewhere, can glean some enjoyment by my forays into writing. I have shown my dark side, my "Fluffy Bunny / Unicorns and Rainbows" side, my creative side, my humorous side, and just about everything in between. If I have written something you truly enjoy, please comment and let me know. If, on the other hand, you think something stinks worse than two-week-old fish, then I need to know that, too. And yes, the rumors of me being heavily medicated are, indeed, true, although I take no psychotrophic medication (perhaps, some think, I should). So, enjoy these glimpses into my world, and fasten your seat belts. It's gonna be one helluva ride!

I have money that is prepared to speak for me and it has said it is prepared to put itself up on my behalf and declare that I am older than you, so there.
I am probably the oldest writer on here, so there again! I'm so old I was going to school when the Nazis were trying to flatten London whilst we were trying to find enough homes for the people who had lost theirs and at the same time, fit in thousands of refugees from Europe. You gonna take the bet? Cos I still regard myself as being young, incredibly beautiful, gifted, intellligent and deliciously desirable.
Seriously though you musn't think negative. If you think : 'You see, I, first and foremost, am NOT a gifted author," that is what you will eventually become. The saving factors are you admission that: 'I have shown my dark side, my "Fluffy Bunny / Unicorns and Rainbows" side, my creative side, my humorous side, and just about everything in between.' Anybody who is able to create fantasy, adventure, romance, erotica, historical adult and childrens stories and then transmit those creations into words and write about them persistently is a gifted writer.
Your target is to use the gift to create a masterpiece that everybody in the world want's to read and prove you are the greatest writer since God wrote the bible, (Still the World's best seller), Shakespeare created Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet, followed by Dickens who thought up a character called Oliver Twist and a bloke called Hemmingway wrote For Whom The Bell Tolls.
You must be gifted, if nothing else you have the ability to transmit thoughts, dreams and fantasies into words and if only a half dozen people have read and enjoyed your work my point has been made.

I must say
You DO put things into perspective, luv. I didn't realize that I was being so negative when I wrote the whole first and foremost part. I merely meant that I lack some of the more refined writing skills of the other authors. And yes, I concede to you as far as age goes. Although I AM an old soul, my present body is just 48. As for erotica, I don't see where I've done that yet, unless you're counting the Khmer phrases I use in Smoky Corners with Sasha et al.
By the way, I could use a few farthings for my coin collection. LOL.
