Blog About:

A couple weeks ago, I went to the VA to get a Doctor to look at a spot on my back that never heals, so I wanted to see if it was Cancer. Spent about a half hour with the doctor and left, and then in about a few days I get a call from another Doctor that said that she was told that I wanted to start living as a man again. What ?!? The!

I will say that mtf transition was a term in hell for me and most of us. I never recommend that someone do it and if they ask me I say no. The reason being that a decision like that must be ONLY your decision and no one else gets a role in it. For me, the loss of my family made it all not worth it, and if they approached me in a loving way, I would probably go back to being grandpa. Not holding my breath for that though.

Other than that, I am very happy as a woman because I probably am one. And I have found myself with a bunch of people that love me and though I can not understand why, I am going to enjoy this horse while it still lives. After 12 years of this and knocking myself out to try to BE a woman, it is clear that I am not like a genetic woman. I have never pushed a baby out, had my period start in the middle of English class, been driven crazy by a guy in the back seat of his car, had dad drag me back into the house before I went to school to change clothes, sent naked pictures to a boy on my phone, or been wolf whistled at.

I did spend 7 years living as a Muslim woman, been asked to be second wife, yelled at for my driving by a Saudi Guy, been told by numerous men that I am not smart enough to do so many things that I did regularly in my old life. I know what it is like to be approached by a man that gave me the creeps, and learned that smart girls just don't go some places without a girlfriend or a man with you. I've learned that if I dress in a mini and a brief top, I will get action I may not want.

Return to impersonating a man? Seriously? What the hell???

Use

Along with the rules about firearm safety is this little gem: Never point a weapon at somebody unless you plan on killing them. To paraphrase on of Heinlein's characters. If having a weapon such as a gun makes you feel 10 feet tale and covered with hair (Ewh!) give the gun to somebody else or leave it at home. That goes along with rule #1: all guns are real and all guns are loaded. Rule #3 (or is it four?) there is no such thing as firing a warning shot, and never try to shoot to cripple. Leave the stunts to Hollywood, you shoot to kill. Aim for the center of the body mass, about the bottom of the breast bone.

Police work

Thank you for the advice.

I was Military Police in the Army, and carried a .45 auto for many years either in my tool box or at night in my tool belt and have been in a couple scrapes where an assailant learned wisdom from me.

So, yeah I hear what you are saying.

Unfortunately, due to

Unfortunately, due to stupidity, lawsuits, politicians, and lawyers in general, you are told _repeatedly_ during Texas concealed carry classes to _never_ use the word kill. Ever. You have to use the magical word 'stop'. You are never to 'shoot to kill'. It's 'shoot to stop'. Obviously we have too many judges that don't understand that 'shoot to wound' is a myth perpetuated solely by Hollywood. (There are some people that can do it, but they're usually combat veterans AND naturally talented to boot. Everyone else has a hard enough time with center of mass shooting when the adrenaline hits)

Apparently if you pull the gun to defend yourself, using the word 'kill' means that you're a premeditated murderer, rather than a victim.

I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.

Do you need guns for?

quite simple

Criminals are armed with with some type of weapon, if you find yourself facing a criminal and you are unarmed (and your name is not Bruce Lee) you are a victim.

A firearm is the ultimate equalizer when facing an armed opponent. No matter what weapon they may have, with a gun you have the ability to resist with an equal or superior force to stop them from doing you harm.

Wolf whistles are over rated

If a guy or guys gives us a wolf whistle is it appreciation of we look nice, sexy, or are they are on the prowl? After marriage it changes to, 'eat your heart out guys, you can look but don't touch'. To go one step up and literally stop traffic, one must dress exceptionally well, have the bod to put in that dress, and bring makeup to an art. But trust me, beauty is fleeting and there are only so many years even the best of us are able to pull it all together unless we have Hollywood's money. Marilyn Monroe and I wore the same dress size. In time that 36,22,36 becomes 34,30,38 and we promise ourselves tomorrow we will work on getting our ol body back in shape as we pull on our blouse, jeans, and boots. And those dresses that did their magic on so many minds so many years ago are packed away somewhere probably dreaming of the time they were on a body they were proud to be seen with.

Besides those dresses don't go with the other accessory I have worn for the past many years. It fits in a holster and is usually on my hip. It has reached out and touched more than it's fair share of four legged varmints. One of the comments was spot on. Never point a gun at anything you don't intend to kill. Every gun is always loaded. It is the empty guns that get people hurt.

Have fun with life, it's too short to take seriously.

I Dunno - I'm Sorry

I know I was responding to a comment about guns in general. But there is nothing like that here! I don't know why I posted my comment here. I am very - very sorry to have hijacked your thread. Doctor has changed up my meds so I'm blaming everything on that.

I'm more curious about who told them of your desires?
