It was a little hard to come up with a third thing I like about me, but since I managed, I will continue my list;
I like that I believe I have made a small difference for tans people with my lecture, and with my openness online.
I think by sharing my story, my struggles, I have helped a few people understand what it means to be trans, and encouraged them to be compassionate to those who have this struggle.
It may be only a tiny ripple in the pond, but who knows where that ripple will spread to, and that's not nothing.

It's Not Just About You
Lots of, most, trans people who come out face unthinkable obstacles, and many of us die. I don't see their deaths as suicide but "murder by redneck". Life has gotten much better in the last 10 years, but STILL, our professional lives are over for the most part, when we out ourselves. From my own very biased point of view, no conservative church will accept us, and were it not for new laws many sectors of our culture would discriminate against us. I just can not imagine what it would be like for a T person in a state that is known to be hostile toward us.
My heart goes out to those whose lives are devastated by immoral and unlawful discrimination and persecution. And this pain is precisely why I am so hard on those who "think" they are transgendered. This life is too harsh for those who can't live without changing gender. So, I make this life look as harsh as I do so those who are not very sure don't try it.
So, you are not alone in trying to live a life that is extremely harsh a lot of the time.
