There is a significant on air Transgender battle happening in Portland, Oregon. The stations airing Anti Trans crap. The Stations are: KPTV, and KATU. The other stations are KGW and KGW.
If others could comment on the stories or paste them to facebook, perhaps we can be heard. I am commenting and pasting it to facebook or just commenting just to pester them.
I could use some help here.

i went back to the 7th, havent seen anything about trans at all. i saw a post about the allowing 15 yr olds to get SRS/GCS without parental permission, and covered by their medicaid program, not sure how i feel about that, from a physical medical standpoint. if they can do all the requisite for the surgery and can find a surgeon willing to do it at that age, i would be surprised.

Out here in Oregon, trans folk are sometimes pretty radical, and take no prisoners. I knew for sure that I was female at age 4 but did not get the surgery until I was 60 after living a life full of confusion and pain.
Stopping puberty until a child can decide is great. I am not totally sure about surgery at 15, but there may be very good physiological reasons to do it at that age.

That is a good approach to take. At worst, the child is a few inches shorter. No great loss.
That is too young to have such medical procedures. At least wait until the person is eighteen, and of the legal age of reason.
