I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.
Ouch! I DID friend them!
I assumed it was you setting up another page because yours had been hacked. I'll de-friend this fraud immediately.

give facebook some props, they shut the fake me down
still can't understand why someone would do that in the first place, though
Yes that is pretty strange
What are they thinking?
I'm guessing...
...it's a backhanded way of getting our friend list, to spread viruses, malware or other nasties. Or they're just creeps who want to send creepy IMs to people (I got two from the phony Dorothy).

well if you ever get a friend request
from me on facebook, report the fraudulent account.
I shut down the fb account, changed password [ no idea what to ] and no longer have the email address it was associated with.
didn't do anything for me.
got rid of linkedin account
and so long since I logged Fetlife [ kinky facebook ] that my account got deleted.
never got into the twits sending twits to twits thing. [ when the site / service is tweeter then they can call them tweets, until then, it's twits ]
and no other (anti)social media for me.
Stupidity is a capital offense. A summary not indictable.
Heard of this before.
Heard of this before, recently in fact.
You are the second person that I have heard this happened to recently.
I wonder how common this is, and what they may be trying to accomplish.
