Well almost!

It seems that July is going out with a whimper, its been a mixed bag of warm, overcast and even quite wet since the weekend!

Monday wasn't too bad so it was a 6km+ walk before i settled down to some writing, the 18th chunk of the new 'book' which is now up on Patreon.

The forecast for Tuesday was a much more mixed bag, starting with showers, sometimes heavy and a stiff breeze before, sunnier, calmer conditions later. So i delayed my ride until late morning and revised my destination to a trip down to Aquae Sulis for a spot of lunch and some road gathering. Well i did everything i set out to do despite several soakings sandwiched between periods of sunshine, somehow it ended up at 70km, 15km of new to me roads and close to 700m of climbing for the day - not quite what i was expecting but i enjoyed it despite the damp.

Today, well i've been out walking again, over 9km this time, the weather a return to dry with regular appearances of Sol and a breeze that has kept the 20c feeling comfortable. As for the rest of the day, well more writing, spag bol and blackberry pie are in my future!

As for the rest of the week, a nice ride tomorrow, a rest day on Friday then a longer Saturday ride ahead of Bunfest Sunday - this weeks Gaby chapter may be a bit later in the day!
