So according to my account, I have been a member here for "14 years, 12 months" which means if my math is correct, its my 15th anniversary.

Well, your story, and its conclusion "...continue on the path I began..." inspired me to make my own resolutions ... Sigh, two of them fell apart at once ...
But the third, to get my debt to the credit card Pirates {edit: notice that "Pirates" rhymes with "High Rates"} down ... that's going well. Since December, monthly interest is down $27/month, and total debt is down by more $than 1.000 ...
And your inspiration is part of my success ...
