Although the above song doesn't mention transfolk specifically I flashed on it as I read this bit of propoganda for the coming gender wars; attempting to orchestrate the very "outcry" they claim to be reporting. The article was bad enough, the linked editorial by the same 'expert' the article cited (who coincidently also works at FOX NEWS) reminded me of nothing so much as MEIN KAMPF. Sounds like the scapegoatists are powering up for a big assault on our supposed threat to the very fabric of society.
Then again I know I have a tendancy toward high drama, alarmism & apocalyptic thinking. I guess we shall see...

On the one hand it should be wiped from the earth like the plague that it is along with those who actually believe the stuff they put out. Then again to me most of the time it's sorta funny, I mean can they really be that stupid?
If you're American though it's something I feel sorry for you guys about because it and CNN are two of the most popularly exported channels out to the rest of the world and it really presents the wrong image really.
I mean does anyone sane want Bill O'rReilly or Glen Beck speaking for them?

Well, we complained enough and got rid of Glen Beck. Remember America, Fox News has advertisers and they read your letters. Even as one person, you can have an effect. So, if you don't like what Foxnews is doing, complain!

Only problem is...
They technically got rid of Glenn Beck's show, but not really Beck himself. They're letting him do specials on Fox that will probably be hours long. Not only that, but there is talk of him making his own network now. Would be interesting to see how that goes, if it does indeed happen.
Nobody ever "goes away", especially people like him. Just like Fox never really "gets rid" of anyone. They just shuffle them around and see where they end up back in the deck.
Personally, I don't mind Glenn. It's not like he's coming to my neighborhood and eating the kids on my block. Though he might if he runs out of cake...

They're owned by the Murdoch clan, who are also responsible for The Sun (Britain's biggest selling newspaper... which is at least partially due to Page 3...) and its sister paper The News Of The World (currently in a world of legal trouble for hacking into famous people's voicemails). Both publications anyone with any sense wouldn't touch with a proverbial bargepole.

Admittedly, I'm always repeating this with some slight variant according to the situation, but…
The only thing sillier than a boy wearing neon pink nail polish is an adult upset over a boy wearing neon pink nail polish.
What the self-appointed gender police miss is that narrowly defined gender roles hurt not only those who struggle with their gender identity, but also those who are even comfortable with it. Often those who are so concerned that every one stay within the boundaries of gender are unwilling & even unable to assist in building competence of confidence within those roles. And the same folks teach their children to violate all norms of civility & to bully those who are uncertain of navigating the frontiers of gender.
