Personal Protective Equipment

My muse forced me to do it...

Personal Protective Equipment

A drabble by Penny Lane

Yes, dear. I agree. What you suggested was necessary, given that I am classed as vulnerable, but...

I can see the logic behind the Victorian maid's uniform. The high starched collar and the eight-inch cuffs fit snugly, which together with the full-length skirt ensures that the virus cannot possibly find a way in. The thick shiny black satin material no doubt provides a strong barrier against any incursion.

The full length PVC apron with the ruffled bib also helps keep the uniform free of taint, that I do agree.

Of course that still left my hands, but I'm sure that the elbow-length white latex opera gloves will provide the superior protection you say they will.

The thigh-length patent leather boots fit well, although it is a shame that you couldn't find any with a lower heel.

But... a full-face gas mask?
