Has all this been training and teaching?
Mr. Calvin is obviously fond of Amber and it seems with the revelations in this chapter that he is teaching her to resist control and use power that she never realized existed before all this started. Interesting. The fact that Taylor is back is kind of worrisome, but I'm sure things will resolve as the story goes on. Good stuff!

Very Interesting
Amber has power and resilience that even Mr. Calvin seemingly does not. I think that the Seeker is destined to become greater than the teacher.

As a seeker, Amber is invigorated when receiving archon energy, so she has more stamina than most. But Mr. Calvin has decades of experience. She has a ways to catch up. You'll get to see her do some pretty inventive things with it though. ;)
