Taxonomy upgrade extras:
I've added a new feature to the front page. It's not perfect yet but this is an attempt to do what Eden originally wanted the Shortcuts to be. Right now it shows the title and author of up to 20 stories on the front page that were posted in the last 50 hours. Currently, this only shows for people using the BigCloset theme, not Reversi or most of the other themes.
I'll make it look prettier later, it's late tonight. :)
Hugs,
Erin

I remember a time
When in existing shortcuts post there was a highlight of more recent stories. It was however discontinued with no apparent reason shortly after Kittyhawk was first published.

Nice feature, however
having ripped my hand open on a tomato can last night, the words quick and cuts sound painful; looking forward to final graphics, since they never disappoint. Pretty good idea.

Much better than rescanning through everything to see if the updates we are looking for are there, thanks Erin.

QuickCuts
Hi
When I first saw this I thought, "Oh no, more stuff to wade through until I get to the stories." Because of the sticky on the October Thingy, it was three pagedowns and that was on quite a high-res screen. I shuddered to think what it would look like on my PDA.
And then it struck me. Duh! I blame looking when I should have been doing other things. I don't have to page down to see the stories as they are listed in this new QuickCuts thing at the top - Yipee! So this is a great thing. This is great for stories I'm following, however, I still have to page down a lot to see the sneaks for stories I don't recognise (one offs etc).
Hugs
Karen
