I've just posted the title page for a new story I'm working on. I know, I know, what about the other ones that have been languishing? Well, I'm still trying to get to them, too. Venus Cursed! is taking up more time than I anticipated, especially since I've got two side stories going now! I'm not abandoning POWYHL or KittyHawk, really! I'll try to alternate or something and get something out on each over the next few months. I can't promise anything, of course, but I will try!
Anyway, the new story is called The Chronicles of Mana. The title page has a little blurb from the 'author', as this is supposed to be a biography written by the protagonists daughter. The story starts in present day, and will cover perhaps as much as fifty years of time, though not in as detailed a way as VC does. There's no schedule, VC would kill it if I made one anyway! I'm not sure how big the chapters will be, my muse will probably decide for me. ;)
This story is going to have some serious magic in it, so if that's not your thing you might not be interested. If the tags on the title page are confusing I apologize, I was trying to cover everything that will be in the story. It should make sense eventually...
This story will reveal the reality structure I'm working with for all my stories, though it's not really all that relevant for most of them. It might provide some useful insights into VC, though.
As the blurb says, I've started the first chapter, but I have no idea when I'll be finished with it. VC is my first priority, so it could still be a little while, especially since I still have another camping trip coming up to interrupt things. We'll see.
Anyway, I hope someone likes it, I'm rather fond of it! Even if I haven't actually written that much yet. ;)

I should hope not - unless you've suddenly discovered the elixir of eternal youth and are willing to share it with us!
Given that VC covers a couple of days per chapter, you'd be looking at ~5,000 chapters to get into the same level of detail as VC - and not even Angharad's got that far yet with "Bike"!

It's even worse than that!
On average, each VC chapter only covers about half a day, if that! I've covered just under a month's worth of time in 66 chapters! That may not always be the case, but that's the way it's gone so far. So that would mean something like ~20,000 chapters! Phew, good thing I'm not going that route! ;)

Saless, I always look forward to reading your stories(i think you might know that with all the comments i make!) I do like the idea's you put forward in your blog..A bit of magic is never a bad thing in my view ,Add to that all your normal twist's, turns, and occasional cliffhangers!! And i suspect you will have another winner.
