The last day at the Con I was struck by an incredible lack in the world of a specific thing that I knew I could do. I spent most of the last day collecting info and opinions about this idea and most of the drive back thinking about it.
Last night and this morning, I did some work on the concept. It's going to take another week or two of work before this sees the light of day, but stay tuned. :) If you are into comics, I think you will like this idea.
The heads-up here is to let people know that for the next two weeks, I will be working on this idea at times when I could be working on long time projects for BC. I can only do so much and eventually, this idea will probably also enrich BC in several ways.
Hugs,
Erin

You're at that point in a project that I love the most. You've identified a need and realize you have the skills to meet that need -- maybe even unique skills.
This is the time when I wish someone would grab me and ask a few questions. Since I can't physically grab you this will have to do.
1.) Does the project have real merit or is it simply something I can do and want to do because I can?
By "real merit" is it something that will add to humanity or fatten your wallet.
I've gotten into projects for all the wrong reasons and realized it only after I had spent considerable resources. I describe this a going off on a wild ride. . .ala Wind in the Willows.
If your project has "real merit" and there's some way I can help, let me know.

Sometimes just doing it
is its own reward. I would probably be no help, but if you need to bounce an idea off someone with an offbeat sense of the logical, I'm your girl.

Too much to do.
I worked at a Child Residential Program a few years ago when one of my colleagues complained about how there was too much to do with little time and resources. Someone joked that she should have herself cloned, but another colleague explained that it wouldn't work since the hospital would just give her clone a caseload to match her own. All that to say, since you can't clone yourself and since you are doing so much already, I believe it would be perfectly acceptable if we waited patiently for you, taking the extra time to express our thanks for all that you do for us. You and your lovely helpers are such a blessing to me and I am very grateful. God bless and enjoy doing something for yourself for a change, Yes?
