Mother Lovecraft?
I'm not certain but your elder Ghod sounds like the seriotypical Jewish Mother of lore.
Happy Mother's day.

All Moms Are Jewish?
Cause most of the Jewish mother jokes fit my Mom, who's English, Irish and German, as far as I know. :)

Spawn too Brutee?
I never "got" H.P. Lovecraft but I never liked worms either. It seems you have been keeping me in the dark with these last two efforts. :)
Ignorance is not all the bliss it is cracked up to be, trust me!

Beastly Jokes
The Cthulhu bit was added late, my Mom thought it was funny without it. I've actually called her and found out she was sitting alone, in the dark, waiting for a call from my brother or me. :) But Cthulhu is a monster and an "Elder God" of the darkness between stars; the idea that a monster would have a guilt-tripping mother like everyone else is the "Beastly Thought."
