He wants a dictatorship. And not in one city or state, but in the entire country.

The capital and the key blue cities are filled with armed loyalists for exactly one reason. When the coup happens, to decapitate and suppress by force the resistance at the places where it will be the strongest.

And I am afraid that when enough key blue cities are occupied, he will act. Enough is about 10-15 biggest ones. Once he has the armed force to suppress resistance there, he can suppress it by armed force only in the entire country, even if most people would revolt against him. That is the tipping point of the preparation.

Vance, Thiel and Co. can't wait to remove him and take the throne for themselves. If they try it before the tipping point is reached, they will bust the entire coup instead. Trump has the electoral support to intimidate into submission the Republican officials who might not support him - Vance etc. don't. However, when this point is reached, they don't need Trump anymore. If he is dead or incapacitated, his loyalists will salute to them. Evoke 25th amendment, replace him due to bad health, tell the next day the country that he succumbed to a fatal disease that he heroically fought for years, lower the flags, bury the body before someone notices that the disease appears to include bullets or poison. (Most rumors about his bad health are distributed by liberal-minded people, but are let out by sources close to Thiel.) And then proceed with things that will make Trump appear as liberal as Bernie Sanders and AOC.

Trump knows that. And knows that if he doesn't make his coup before Vance etc. are able to remove him, and doesn't remove them immediately, he will be the one who lost the game of thrones. So, when things approach the tipping point - which will not take too long - events might develop with a lightning speed.

My advice would be - be prepared for it. And warn those who are dear to you to be prepared too.
