Strictly speaking, seven levels of quality in fantasy books, rather than seven levels of fantasy itself*, but I found the film most interesting. Seing AI slop and the work of shysters such as L. Ron Hubbard (named and pictured) on the lowest tier was particularly nice!

* I've thought about this, since, and if I were to categorise fantasies (delusions) into seven levels, I might list them as...

  1. Overvalue (fascination with celebrity; obsession with people who don't actually have a relationship with you)
  2. Corporeal (hypochondria; believing you're ill, when doctors and tests can find nothing wrong)
  3. Coincidence (the idea that innocuous events have greater significance and relate to you personally)
  4. Possessive (feelings of jealousy; mistrust of a partner)
  5. Specialness (delusions of grandeur; imagined paranormal powers such as prophecy)
  6. Paranoia (believing you're targeted, spied upon, poisoned, conspired against; "chemtrailed"...)
  7. Unreal (belief in effects and events that defy the laws of physics; mind control; alien abduction; hearing thoughts; the world is just a simulation...)

Your unicorn's mileage may vary, of course.
