No one is more surprised than me, but it sure seems like a lot of people have been reading Being Christina Chase lately. I've gotten a few very kind thank you notes, there's been some chatter on the social medias, and I still get the odd comment on BC directly.
And of course Miriam Robern has taken it upon herself to write a whole sequel.
(I appreciate the talk on xTwitter too, but I'm not gonna link there)
Anyway, it's both very flattering that people are still reading it and honestly it's a little intimidating too. It's a product of its time and I wonder how well it has (or hasn't) aged.

It Could Have Been A Published Book (Still)
I understand that the writers market is pretty bleak nowadays.

Among the very best!
It’s a wonderful story, and it wasn’t that long ago that I read it. I think it’s held up well.
Miriam’s sequel is also outstanding and I highly recommend it as well!

There is a SEQUEL ?
I did not know that. Someone please send me the link???

Here you go, Gwen!
Being Samantha Masters
It takes both guts and skill to essay a sequel to such a beloved story, and Miriam shows both. BSM, like the Admiral’s masterpiece, features complex and often conflicted characters, secrets, great dialogue and outstanding scene setting.

I read it when it was new
And I admit to reading every year or two. It's still a great story for which I thank you Crunchie, how about another one? Only joking I know you had some difficulties with the ending, but it's a real classic.

Like you, I have to admit…….
To re-reading the story every few years. It is a classic, and even after having read it so many times that I could not even begin to guess at the number, it still has the power to make me cry. There are parts of the story that make me laugh out loud, and so many parts that make me bawl my eyes out.
The true mark of a great story, and a great author, is when it makes you cry even when you know what is going to happen! Even though I know the story, and even though I know what is going to happen next, and even though I know how each situation is going to be resolved, I still can’t help getting so invested in the story that I end up crying so hard I can’t read!
Yeah………. this is definitely one of my favorites. Krunch, you created a classic.
