Whatever the CofE think, April 23rd is England's national saint day
So how is the week going? Well i think its fair to say that the weather has been 'mixed', typical for April i guess. Monday was a day of rest after Sunday's long ride so i got as far as the supermarket before making a start on a new writing project. It's not specifically a TG story but rather a somewhat dark crime tail - i want to get a bit further before i put anything out but there should be something on Patreon in the not too distant future.
Tuesday looked a bit brighter but rather than push things i decided on a relatively short ride out to my burger stop at Clevedon. Yep, sometimes just being out there is enough, no distance agenda just twiddling along the lanes without a care. It ended up a bit over 73km, burger eaten, legs stretched and only marred by the cloudburst that hit for the last kilometre!
Today? well i've had a little riverside walk, grabbed the components of a sausage casserole and divested the bike of its accumulation of Somerset and Wiltshire trails.
The rest of the week looks like more mixed weather - i'll get a couple of rides in of course and hopefully some writing between other stuff.
That's all for today, Sunday will of course have more Gaby but until then,
Tschuss,
Madeline Anafrid

Wait....
Isn't it also Shakespeare's birthday? George and Willy on the same day?
Hugs,

Swallows
Usually about the time I see the first swallows here - but they appeared a week ago. First house martin instead this morning :)

Not only that but ...
... it's my little brothers birthday (he isn't called either George or William!). He's not so little now though he's still 13 years younger than at 72. Does make it easy to remember the date, though. My other little brother's birthday is the day after St Patrick's Day so that helps as well :)
