As I have mentioned previously, I was scheduled for a second procedure of stent application. At the end of last month, however, the procedure was postponed because I finally was able to move into income-sensitive housing last week. This move comes after over four years on a waiting list.

So yesterday I had the stents installed successfully with an excellent prognosis. The recovery time frame is happily only three days. I look forward to strolling downtown on Sunday since there's a day-long Jazz Festival being held on Main Street.

The following day will be the 70th anniversary of Mrs. D's Birth. It will be an especially difficult day for everyone on both sides of our family. I'm going to rejoice in the midst of still grieving, since remembering her has become sweeter.

Thanks to everyone for your love and support!

Dear 'Drea,
With all that happening don't overdo things.

I'm oh so glad that you got into your new apartment. You certainly deserve the rent relief, and having your stents installed successfully is actually even better news, but letting the process mend properly is also important.
If you don't feel well enough the Jazz Festival can wait.

Continuing sympathy and condolences for your wife. Remember all the happy times.

Kitties For Kamala!

Stents are good

May you have as much relief as I got when they put one in me. 5 years so far and still no heart pain.

I am very glad

That your stent operation went well and that you are still with us. *hugs you gently*

Looking forward to more of your writing skill when you can :)
