Danny did indeed find the expected treasure trove at the back of Penny's closet.
Penny had a hoarding mentality. She never threw anything out. This meant that the things Danny found in the back of Penny's closet were things that she had outgrown, but they fit Danny just fine.
He luxuriated in the silken feel of the nylon panties, the lacey brassieres, and the lovely slips. He had all the time in the world, so he laid his selections out on Penny's bed. Slowly he began his transformation.
He delighted in the texture of Penny's nylon panties with the pretty lace trim. With practiced ease he donned the bra, pausing to stuff it with tissues. He snapped a garter belt into place and pulled those lovely nylons over his still smooth legs. He had not yet developed much in the way of body hair.
With delight he pulled a slip over his head and smoothed it over his now very feminine curves. He just had to admire himself in Penny's full-lengh mirror. He struck several very sexy poses, admiring the not-quite-a-girl-but-not-quite-a-boy he saw in the reflection. Excitedly and impatiently he completed his dressing, slipping the lovely pastel green party dress over his head and stepping into the matching pumps.
He pranced and posed in front of the mirror, admiring his girlish figure, enjoying the feel of the dress and slip, the confining snugness of the bra and stockings. He raised his skirt to admire the lacey garter belt. Oh, how marvelous he felt! If only he could somehow find some makeup and perhaps a wig, all would be perfect.
Perhaps Penny had some makeup stashed away in the very back of the closet. He decided to search a bit further. As he pushed Penny's clothes to the other side of the closet, he noticed something quite peculiar.
There was a door at the back of the closet.
The door was white and fastened shut with a simple hook-and-eyelet fastener. What could possibly be there? As far as Danny knew, there was no plumbing to access. This had to be a secret compartment. Perhaps Penny had hidden some additional goodies back there.
He unfastened the hook and swung the door open. There appeared to be another room beyond the door. Heedless of any danger, Danny stepped into the room. He felt along the wall for a light switch, but could find nothing.
Suddenly he fell forward, into darkness.
It seemed as though he was falling forever. He panicked in anticipation of the impact that never came. As he fell, it seemed that he was slowing. A breeze lifted his skirt like a parachute. And then he landed lightly on the floor.
But where had he fallen? All around him was a consuming darkness, the kind that seemed to drink up any light unfortunate enough to be caught in its arms. Danny wanted to scream, but no sound would form in his frightened mouth. He felt as though he could not breath, and began to hyperventilate.
Then, as his eyes adjusted to the light, he thought he could make out the outline of a doorway. Having no other option, he moved towart the opening.

Billy Bear lived in the Enchanted Forest with his wife, Betsy Bear.
Now just what is the Enchanted Forest? Oh, it is a wonderous place just around the corner of your imagination. Because, in the Enchanted Forest, all of the animals walked, talked, worked, and lived just like people.
Everybody who knew Betsy and Billy knew that they were very much in love. They loved going on long walks holding paws and gathering honey. They loved giving each other bear hugs. And at the end of the day, just after supper, Betsy and Billy loved to sit on the porch swing just outside their cave and cuddle.
It was a wonderful Spring day when Billy kissed Betsy goodbye and walked to town to open their candy shop for the day's business. Billy opened early, swept up, cleaned the windows and the glass display counters, and re-stocked the jars and counters. Later in the day Betsy would come to the shop to fix lunch. The two bears would then take turns making candy and waiting on customers. At six Billy would fix dinner and at eight-thirty they would close the shop and go home to their cave. The shop was open from Tuesday through Saturday and was closed on Sunday and Monday.
Billy had just finished sweeping up when he heard a knock at the cupboard.
The cupboard did not contain anything, and never would. For this cupboard was the magical doorway that his friend Penny used to visit the Enchanted Forest from her own world. Penny was a human, and their were no humans living in the Enchanted Forest, only animals.
It had been many years, and Billy thought his old friend had forgotten about him. Now he heard knocking at the cupboard door. Could this be his friend, back for a visit after all this time?
Imagine Billy's surprise when he opened the door and did not find his friend Penny. Instead he found a human boy wearing a green party dress. And the boy was crying.
