I was very much surprised to find some of the works of my childhood, on Kindle. Right now I am reading Dragon Riders of Pern, and enjoying it greatly. I haven't re-sampled Andre Norton yet, but assuming I don't encounter my mortality, plan to. Quite fun.

Thank you for bringing that to my attention…….
I will have to look. I first encountered Anne McCaffery’s wonderful Pern stories in a copy of Astounding Science Fiction when I was but a child. I fell in love with it immediately.
I also fondly remember Andre Norton as well.

I haven't read Andre Norton's books since I was in high school.
I'll have to see what is on Kindle. I believe all of Anne McCaffrey's Dragonrider books are on Kindle, including the Harper Hall trilogy which I just realized I don't have on my Kindle. I must correct this omission. Thank you for reminding me of it.
Anne McCaffrey
I think you'll find all of Anne's books are available for download. That includes the Tower and Hive series, Though I am not sure of "petaybe"? Certainly not redone versions.
Anne MacCaffery novels
I have also re-read a number of her novels in Kindle format. Unfortunately I was not a child when I read them the first time but remember anticipating the next Dragonsinger book for when it was released. Personally I found the Crystal Singer trilogy much the best overall, and have reread all three of those with pleasure.
Andre Norton
The very first book I ever bought was Andre Norton's The Star man's Son. It was through my grade school in the late 60's for a whopping fifty cents. After that one I read several of her others and have been a dedicated reader of fantasy ever since.
