As an author, I have more ideas than time to write. I often get inspired and write the first portion of a story only to get stuck because I wrote myself into a corner. Often it takes months or years to complete the story.
I now have about two dozen stories in various stages of completion.
This is where you all can step in. Read the story ideas below and tell me which story you want me to complete.
1) Greek mythology - an archeologist discovers the true birthplace of Zeus and a potion created by Rhea and Aphrodite. The professor is accidentally changed and now must stop the end of the world from happening.
2) Global Conspiracy - a young man is recruited into the global military to fight the alien invasion. He is tested and used as part of a new experiment to create weapons, only he himself will become the weapon. Not only does he have to contend with the changes to himself, but he is starting to think there may be something the government is hiding from the world.
3) Two Worlds - two worlds exist bound together. One has magic. The other does not. A prophecy suggests the magic world can only be saved by someone on the non magic world but to discover this person means they need to first bring them to their world and this will forever change them.
4) Merlin’s Daughter - a man discovers Merlin’s last home and finds a book encased in crystal. He inadvertently unlocks the book and becomes Merlin’s daughter.
5) Russian Spy - a man is captivated by a beautiful young woman. She asks for his help with a science experiment. He wakes to find himself her, but also has her memories. She was a Russian spy and her life comes with some serious baggage.
Choose the story you like most and I will finish it.

Can’t wait!!
Hi Avia,
They all sound like brilliant stories, and I have no doubt they will be.
#5, Russian Spy, sounds exciting, but a bit too similar to a couple of stories you have already done (A New Superheroine, and The Spy Who Loved Me).
My vote would go to either 3) Two Worlds, or 4) Merlin’s Daughter. In an ideal world, both of them!
Keep up the great work!
A little more information…
The spy one has a bit of a twist that will take it in a completely different direction than some other spy stories.
The two worlds story is about 75% complete. I really love how it is turning out, which is why I am fretting over how to finish it.
Merlin’s daughter is still in the planning phase. The idea can go multiple directions, having the main character live back in time right after Merlin’s death or set the time to be modern times. Both have interesting possibilities.
I should have mentioned 6) which is a story about angels and demons with a new twist. The main character becomes a cast out angel, fighting against both demons and angels to protect humanity.
Number 6!!!
I’ve changed my mind, I want Number 6! That sounds brilliant - someone becoming an angel but still staying to fight for the human race. Sounds epic.
Whichever story you go for, I have no doubt it will be superb.
Merlin's Daughter
Just reached out and grabbed me. I've been reading a lot about that part of English history. Many divergent thoughts of the Mage. The whole era is ripe for conjecture.

I Like #1...
...not that I'd object to anything you write (g).

I'm a sucker for Greek myths
but all of them sound interesting
Hi I have read your stories
Hi I have read your stories since 2020 but I decided to create an account now. If I am not too late I would like to add a suggestion. I really like option 4. If the story is still in the planning phase I would like the story to stay in modern times. Thank you.
Merlin's Daughter Please
Merlin's daughter sounds really cool. I think it should be kept in present times as the magic and transformation would be much more interesting to deal with. Sort of like a super-hero, but not. You should also have some anti-person or protagonist that also awakens with the opening of the book that they both have to find and deal with each other. Doesn't necessarily have to be one kills the other. Could be a really cool story, I think. You always write awesome and detailed stuff, so I can't wait to see what you write, no matter which one you pick.
Thanks!
Merlin’s daughter and other…
For a teaser about Merlin’s daughter, Merlin was created by a demon mating with a human woman. That’s where he got his powers from. The story’s plot will focus around the demon attempting to reach the human plane.
Our main character will be transformed early on in the story with little understanding of what she has become. Transformed by Merlin’s spell to stop the demon, Merlin’s father, from coming to earth, she will be learning as she goes.
This is sort of a tomb raider like tale with the evil empire intent of finding artifacts to bring the demon into the world.
On another note, I have come up with a new superhero concept and am considering this to be more of a graphic novel style. Does anyone have interest in that?
My opinion for what it worth....
2 months later. I like the sound of 3,6 and 4 in that order. 3 because you said it's 75% complete, but I also like the sound of it. But to be honest, I'd like Book 3 of Valg. Thanks for the options!

Endings are the beginning
I've heard more than one well known author comment that they write the endings first and let that be a guide as you write. Knowing your destination allows you to roam as necessary.
