It would be easier if they said MtF or FtM.
Given a do over, perhaps it would be best to simply live your life and never say ???
Why are politicians so afraid of these kids?
It just doesn't make sense, they are just portraying what they feel inside about themselves.

Couldn't agree more. Just a bunch of sweet kids.
Back in college -- in my alcohol-driven machismo days -- we had a saying when entering a brawl, "I'll take the little one, he looks like he might have a knife."
Politicians are sniveling cowards who pick their fights carefully. They've identified trans as having little means of defending themselves and almost no possibility of ever hurting the politician. Perfect targets for their hate-spewing.
