The queen doesn’t have to eat garbage or be paddled by rubber hoses. It seems like a good way to avoid a physical beating and humiliation.

Her Cover
Although several of the covers Melanie has drawn for my books have been remarkable, I think this might be my favorite cover. Erin captured exactly what I had going through my mind when I wrote the title story.
Several weeks ago, someone complained about the number of Kindle books that are taking up space on the front page of BC. I shouldn't have let it bother me, but it did. The remark seemed to be aimed at me because I usually have several books advertised on the front page.
I don't receive any money from the sale of those books. Doppler Press retains 100% of what Amazon pays them. That money goes to help keep this site running.
I DO get a lot of compensation in the form of satisfaction. Doppler Press does a very nice job preparing the books and it makes me happy to know people actually read them.
Thank you to Erin, again and again, for asking me to write for BC, over two decades ago. It has been a huge part of my life.
