I relocated to Desmoines Iowa of all places for the holidays and maybe longer but it's possible that I could be moving to Spain in the near future.I was told their looking for english speaking workers and that they pay well and most importantly their T friendly.Amy

P.S. All around Des Moines, but less so to the north is a cluster of wooden covered bridges AKA The Bridges of Madison County. And Winterset in Madison County has a park with a covered bridge, a stobe fairy bridg and is less than amile from the childhood home of Marion Morison, AKA John Wayne.

Nebraska - where I lived for four years (Bellevue...) The DRY weather was a nice thing. :-)
Better then North Dakota
I have lived in Denison and Denton, Iowa. I have also lived in Minnesnowta, N. DAk, Montana, Idaho and Washington niot to mention some eastern seaboard states. Of all the states I lived in I dreaded N. Dak. when i moved to N. Dak with my family the IQ rate increased from a 30 to 110. if you stand just at the right spot on the eastern boarder of N.Dak and someon is driectly opposit of you at the western boarder and holding a flag you can see the flag. N.Dak is very flat.
I'm not sure how friendly N.Dak is to the transgendered but I'm sure since the population is scattered it may not even realize their are those wjho are not lke the rest of them. LOL
The best thing coming out of North Dakota is highway 10, jusat ask any boy from Minnesnowta, Montan or South Dakota.LOL
Spain is a nice country especially around Costa del Sol (Coast of the sun). I've been to Spain many times. You have to see a Bull fight it's the most amazing thing to observe all the pomp and circumstances before the bullfight actually takes place.

How Flat?
The State Capitol building in Bismarck is less than twenty stories tall. There is a sign next to I-94 indicating it is 23 miles to Bismarck. If you know where to look on the horizon you can plainly see the top of that building.
As far as the IQ of the average resident -- how smart do you have to be to live where it can be fifty below in the winter and 110 above in the summer with wind every hour of every day. The winds are so prevalent when I was training to run a marathon while living there I planned my runs around the direction of the wind. Out into the wind and in with the wind at my back.
They have just found a third oil field in North Dakota. Estimate are the three fields together have more oil than Saudi Arabia. Let's have a little respect for that Godforsaken state.

I lived in North Dakota, then we moved to a lesser of intelligence state. Montana.
Nine mohts of winter and 3 months of road work to fix potholes created in the winter.
If summer falls on a Sunday wind, rain or snow they have a picnic to celebrate.
