Well?
The 2020 Republican National platform duplicated the platform in 2016, which was blatantly anti LGBTQ, the president's statements to the contrary. And the Justice Department eviscerated or downright removed rights and protections of our community gained over the past twenty years. It's disappointing that regardless of her stands on other issues, Ms. di Mezzo aligned herself with the ANTI LGBTQ political movement.

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson's vetoing the state's ban on transgender treatments on minors will be the "end of him" and propel Sarah Sanders to the governor's mansion, according to former President Donald Trump.
"Asa Hutchinson, the lightweight RINO Governor of Arkansas, just vetoed a Bill that banned the CHEMICAL CASTRATION OF CHILDREN," Trump said in a statement. "'Bye-bye Asa,' that's the end of him! Fortunately for the Great State of Arkansas, Sarah Huckabee Sanders will do a fantastic job as your next Governor!"

Sounds a bit like that trick that has been going on in some southern states where at the last minute some new third party "liberal" joins the race. Some have been surprisingly well funded with slick ads and mailers and just the right platform to drain away enough of the progressive vote to let the conservative win.
Ranked voting with instant runoff is the only way we will ever defeat that kind of tactic. But the only way we will ever get ranked voting is if we move the overton window significantly to the left.
