Hey everyone,
Sorry if I've been quiet this weekend but it's kinda sucked for me. Thursday night I got triggered pretty bad and Martin was a few hours calming me down. As a result I've been dealing with PTSD dreams during what little sleep I have been getting. Add to that the Martin has been working and ended up working double shifts so s/he wasn't here to keep me calm and I've been a bit of a mess and fighting off panic attacks since my prescription for Xanax can't be renewed again. I also had to deal with a meal with his family which is always stressful because they speak too fast in French for me to follow half the time and I can't really contribute much to the conversation. At least Martin was able to be there for that and we were able to use the fact that s/he had work the next morning and had worked double shifts the past two days to duck out early so s/he could sleep at a decent hour last night.
Anyway, with all of that going on and having internet issues Saturday night and most of Sunday too I just haven't been in the headspace to write and even if I was Martin and I wouldn't have had time to go through edits before posting. So unfortunately I wasn't able to post a chapter of MSPD this weekend. Sorry about this but life just decided to kick me while I was down this weekend and I just haven't had the energy to try to fight it off.
*big hugs to you all*

huggles, Amethyst
please take care of yourself, the writing can wait.
Thanks Dot
I'll do what I can. Martin has the day off tomorrow and thinks that a day of snuggling and watching movies is called for.

Don't take me too seriously. I'm just kitten around. :3
Xanax
I'm assuming some where in the US? Access to medical care here is silly and drug controls even worse. Most of the laws just seem to hurt those with a legitimate need for the drug while those who abuse it don't bother with the rules. We say we don't want the nanny state. We say we don't want the nanny state until we start talking about providing medical care to women, minorities and the poor. Then Auntie Sam is all over getting in the way and adding extra stress to our lives.
Glad you feel up to posting. It's good to see your name on the blog list. Big hugs back.
peace

Nope, I'm in Quebec
And since I moved here 've been having nothing but problems with medical stuff. I can't get a family doctor and I can't get much if any help from the walk-in clinics for the medical issues since any prescriptions or diagnoses written outside of the province don't seem to be worth the paper they're written on. They just shuffle me from one doctor or clinic to another without much if any real help. And with the waitlist to get a family doctor or an intake with a transgender health clinic, I'll be lucky to get them within the year right now.
