I am pleased to announce the result of just two weeks' work - MY FAIR LADY-BOY

Remember the story of My Fair Lady?
Or perhaps you recall the Book by George Bernard Shaw upon which the musical version was based - PYGMALION?
Well, this is not really a modern re-write, more like a contemporary story that borrows just a smidge from the original.

This is the blurb...
Out of a rather childish bet, a young person is unwittingly drawn away from the life that they had decided had little hope or little purpose into a life that he had absolutely no idea existed.
The bet came out of a moment of anger when Henry Higgins became annoyed at a comment passed by a supposed friend called Marius Piper.
Piper was a well known theatrical producer in London, yet he had some quite bigoted views, especially about those whom he felt were not good enough to be in his productions. Among these were those who happened to be born to what he considered to be the lower class and anyone who had changed their gender.
Henry was not a speech expert as described by George Bernard Shaw in his work - Pygmalion; but was in fact an occupational psychologist. He bet Marius that he could find and present to him a young person who was utterly the wrong sort and had been born a different gender to that presented.
At stake - Marius's Rolls Royce against Henry's pride and joy - his 1936 Bentley.
Into the frame came not a flower-seller called Eliza Doolittle, but a young designer called Elliot Donaldson, who just happened to be working in a florist's shop just before the lockdown in March 2020.
Elliot was a young man whom Henry felt had potential. he thought about using subterfuge to enlist Elliot's help but instead told him the truth.
Coming as he did from a fractured family - with an abusive father and an alcoholic mother and once the shop was shut due to the corona Virus, Elliot had no job and nothing better to do. Elliot agreed and as a result, a lot of lives were changed forever.
