Hey everyone.
I'm afraid that I probably won't be putting out chapers of Twice Removed or Syryn's Song this week. I have the toothache from hell right now, it's been going for the past few days and it's causing so much pain that I can hardly see straight, so concentrating on writing had been problematic at best. I already have chapters of I Wish and MSPD ready to go, so they won't be affected, but this has really cut into my concentration for working on much of anything at the moment.
In other news though, while I had considere ending Syryn's song after the battle of the bands, that will no longer be the case. While it seemed like a logical ending point, there was still too much I wanted to do with the story as they break into the music industry and get more experienced with hero work. So once I'm able to focus again I will switch it to a biweekly schedule, posting it every second Sunday to accomodate the longer chapter length and posting something else on Sundays in the intervening weeks. What that something else will be, will be a surprise though, probably for me as well since I can barely think straight right now.

I'm looking into dental clinics for free emergency care and have some I'll have the money to get something for the pain tomorrow.

here in manitoba we have a dental college of the u of m(university of manitoba) where you can get emergency root canals done for about 80 bucks. I had one because the pain was horrible and no amount of painkillers(demerol) or tooth cream would help. They even had, at the time, a payment plan in place so I was able to pay a bit at first and rest when I got my monthly check.
Ive had about twelve fillings and other teeth work done since(my fault for sucking on mints for about a year all day long ...oops.) and that came under a thousand with three teeth removed.
To be honest the tooth removal would have been better and cheaper in long run the root canel broke apart on a piece of pizza crust. (delicisso if you must know. soft crust not crispy)
Baring that. I Know that here welfare covers dental care. I'm not sure of your situation but you may have hidden coverage that a dental college would know about.
Just something to look into as I know just how painful tooth aches can be.
From sounds of it your enamel is gone and a nerve is exposed. An old army trick is to use battery acid to kill the tooth...but i was never brave enough to try that. You could also try a local army base...though they dont use freezing or sedatives to remove teeth.
Second warning teeth can become infected. Check gum line where it hurts if it is puffy or bulged out get attention immediately. Yes you can go to hospital emergency for that.
Third if the nerve(s) are badly inflamed in gum line ask for a teacher to do novacaine injection. It's tricky as the students generally don't know trick to freeze inflamed gums.
Finally if tooth is removed and you get a dry socket seek a doctor knowledgeable in this for a spot of oil of cloves to be put on.
