For those who are interested, I have today relocated some considerable distance south - thanks Bev.
Will it work out? I don't know the answer to that one but at least i'm not sofa surfing for a bit.
Thanks to everyone who has shown concern for my welfare over the last weeks and months, I do appreciate it.
Hopefully I can break the downward spiral of both mental state and finances and start recovering my life.
Bye for now

I'm so happy
that you may have a little stability for a while.

We may be neighbours.
Greetings from (not so sunny) Devon.
Think of the positives
All those new hills to climb!
All those new windmills to visit!
etc
etc
Samantha
hmmph!
Not seen a single windmill and you call these pimples hills? Lol
My biggest issue is the amount of sky - there's just too much of it.
Have to organise a meet up as i'm a lot closer now.

Proximity
I work over that way quite regularly; I shall wave next time.
There's plenty of hills
in them Welsh Valleys. Some are even steep but no cobbles though. :) :)

Dang
And there was me hoping to recreate the Hovis ads. Oh wait a minute, they were filmed in Dorset!
I don't, contrary to popular belief, seek out the hardest, knarliest hills to ride up, to the contrary,if there is an easy way i'll take it. OTOH these days I don't shy from including more testing terrain inmy perambulations.
Yesterday's ride included Cheddar Gorge of cheese fame, its a long climb but not overly steep which I found quite enjoyable. What was les pleasant were the steeper draggy climbs that took me into Bath later on. Luckily the roads I covered earlier on with 20% signs I was going down not up!
Weather permitting i'll do a Severn crossing on my next ride - a proper 'flat' ride, lol.

I am so glad you landed.......
On both feet. A big thanks to Beverly too for stepping up where so many of us simply weren’t geographically able to.
Here’s hoping that you can take a deep breath and get yourself together. Just remember, the longest journey starts with one small step. You just need to take that one step, and then just keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Yeah, I know, cliched as all hell - but still true Hon.

So I can start breathing again?
Bless you Bev for stepping up and extending a helping/calming hand to one of our own and thank you so much for answering my call for help that I couldn't give.
Now Maddy. No more of these histrionics, you hear me? My heart just can't take these "life or death" scenarios! LOL!
You're loved Maddy and respected. I hope now you can see that and appreciate just how much we all care.
